Internacional de Comercio y Servicios S.L. has received a grant for the development of this project in its Extrunoga factory within the Programme of Energy Efficiency Actions in Industry. This programme has the financial support of INEGA, of the Xunta de Galicia, the National Energy Efficiency Fund and is also co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the EU.
The main objective of this project is to design and implement an energy management system for the production process of Extrunoga. This energy management system will make it possible to control the energy consumed by the main consumption centres of the factory, as well as to implement a control system for the process parameters that have special influence on the electricity and gas consumption of the facility. It will also allow to quantify the impact on energy consumption of any improvement or corrective measure introduced in the production process, thus supporting decision-making and increasing the plant’s energy efficiency.
